Programme Evaluations

The evaluations of the “Good Governance, Institutions, and Transparency” programme by external evaluators constitute a key mechanism for monitoring and improving the management of the EEA Grants Financial Mechanism for the 2014-2021 period. These evaluations aim to assess the achievement of the programme’s objectives while offering valuable recommendations for more effective implementation of results within the eligible period, which concludes on April 30, 2024.

Evaluators examine the work completed, analyze any challenges encountered, and suggest improvements to ensure that the programme aligns with its set goals and objectives. This approach enhances the programme’s quality and efficiency through constructive feedback and recommendations for strategic adjustments.

From the start of the programme until 2023, three external evaluations have been conducted, with the active participation of the Programme Operator, ensuring the programme’s reliability and effectiveness through ongoing monitoring and necessary adjustments.
